Wee Fit Challenge RESULTS honors Council and Wylan Elementary

The 2nd Annual Wee Fit Challenge is a statewide competition among elementary school students who are involved in the Alabama Sports Festival’s (ASF) Wee Can Fight Obesity program. It was held in conjunction with ASF’s State Games.  The competition was staged in Birmingham’s historic Boutwell Auditorium.

Wee Can Fight Obesity at Spring Garden

A local elementary school is taking part in the “Wee Can Fight Obesity Program.” It’s a pilot program in elementary schools involving the Alabama Sports Festival Foundation, Alabama State University, and the Governor’s Commission on Physical Fitness.  Spring Garden Elementary is one of six schools participating in the program.
